Forscan Programming for 2025 Bronco Outer Banks for Hitch
There's another LONG forum thread about this, but my objectives were a bit different, so here's my post. Here's what I installed:
Ford Part # S2DZ19H332A, which is the trailer tow module (TRM).
Ford Part # 9U5Z14489MAA, which is the 4/7-way combo plug.
Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F294RBM4 which is a bracket for the plug.
My Bronco already had the pre-wiring, so those parts went on fairly easily, but all I got was tail/running lights on my 4-way plug, which many others have reported.
And all I really wanted was a 4-way plug so I could tow my 18' boat over to the lake ... no heavy nor long distance towing. I've got a King Ranch F150 for those things.
It was a nightmare finding the correct Forscan settings, but after two days of futzing with it, I finally got my 4-way to work. I'm still not getting anything about towing on the dash, but that's fine.
I used the latest Forscan which is v2.3.70, and I did the extended license thing.
Here's what I did to get the 4-way to work. BCM was BdyCM in Forscan, but I just put BCM in my notes as that's what everybody else seems to call that module.
I edited this post, having spent some more time with it, and reducing it to the absolute minimum set of changes (as seen above). These changes shouldn't change anything about how the dash operates. They're solely to get a 4-way tow plug working with the above hardware additions.
