The two door vs. four door argument is so stupid. Get what you want and leave the other ‘side’ alone for crying out loud! Ford vs Chevy, Jeep vs Bronco and Coke vs Pepsi fall into the same category, IMHO. Just what it is, my humble opinion as it is yours.
You must be one've those Chevy drinkin', Jeep eatin', Coke drivin' twits. I was warned 'bout yer kind!!

This is America! What about this place tells you that you have the option to choose differently? Where have you been?

Besides, the banter provides entertainment and therapy for the sensitive marshmallows out there who really should be in the Bronco Sport anyway, so yeah, we're not gonna let this topic go, EVER!

Far too fun! 😎

Well... They are both 4 doors, and essentially the same vehicle anyway.

I’m old enough to remember my seat was the center console in my dad’s ‘67 v8 Falcon 2 Dr. then as years went by I hung on my dads seat back.

now today my dad is 127 years old and he still complains about me kicking his seat.

No worries. We know who hates the 2dr. Because they keep telling us. Again. And again. Oh look! A thread or comment that mentioned 2dr! Again. And again. And again.

And again.

And again.

And again.
In fairness, I literally ALWAYS respond to the first couple of 2 door dipshit comments bashing 4 doors before I chime in. While I know that 2 wrongs don't make a right, I also know that it's the insecure 2 door folks that always have to take their digs first, no matter how uncalled for they are.

Bad things have to be brought to light.
Communism, genocide, low fat buttermilk, turkey bacon, 4 door Broncos.
Some things have to be condemned and shamed. 😁

It gets old either way. I mean, boring. I've dunked on 4drs in the past, sure, but I don't anymore and I've also defended 4drs. Sometimes people are kidding (like, y'know, above), sometimes people aren't and it comes across as really weird to care so much. Let's just try not to be so boring. I meen, at least it's not a Sport! (I kid, I kid. 😁 )

I don't know about that. I believe the 2-door was key for marketing at launch to give legitimacy the whole "1966" thing and to have cred with the old timers with them saying "It's back!". Jeep pretty much had a lock on the market, so they had to come in strong and legit with the 2-door being key for that.

I do truly believe most people WANT a 2-door and it is the basis of the Bronco fantasy. That was perfect when Bronco was only a concept dreaming of a G1 thru G5 Bronco....which was ONLY a two door. These people get to a dealer and lay eyes on the 2-door and say, "Hum, Sally and Robert are not going to fit well back there....and there's little room for groceries behind that seat.....let's look at this four door thing also called Bronco." They do and it is ALMOST as cool and less fun, but still more practical for $45K-$70k.

They probably sold enough 2-doors to justify its existence for G6 and also reap the marketing benefits. It may live on in a limited capacity in G7, but I personally doubt the 2-door will make it to G8. Then they can put "1996" Easter eggs in the G8 4-doors to commemorate the first death of the Bronco as part of the celebration of the second death of Bronco.
Yeah I agree.

Obviously Ford did the market research on the Jeep Wrangler, and if you look over there... 4-Door outsells 2-door by approx 8-to-1. So I'm sure they expected very similar numbers on the Bronco.

But if the Bronco came out and 2-Door sales was... say... ≈40% of the market, then I think the trim lineups would look very different than they do today. I don't think they're trying to kill the 2-door, I just think they're in the business of building vehicles that sell.

i went to order a 2026 2 Door Bronco with the 2.7, no longer an option?? I do not understand this way of thinking.
And that is exactly why I traded in my 2022 for the Stroppe last year. Last of the V-6 2dr's.

No one does.

When our '22 2.7 was murdered we pretty much had to downgrade to the 2.3.

When people tell you the 2.3 is adequate they haven't owned both. Sure it's adequate in that it moves the vehicle but it certainly doesn't move the soul. Low end grunt is noticeably down compared to the 2.7, she rips pretty good up high but just doesn't have it down low.
I've owned both. My 2021 was a 4 banger 2dr. It was just fine until it was totaled >wipes a tear<. I test drove a 2dr jacked up on 37's with a 4 banger and a manual tranny, was fantastic but I was facing Rotator Cuff surgery #1 and couldn't handle the manual while recovering so picked up a v-6 2dr, 2023. So now my Stroppe is my 3rd Gen6. I could certainly go back to the 2.3L with a manual tranny, the truck I test drove, shifted better than my 2017 Ford Focus RS. I do not feel it was inferior at all. AND, I've wheeled both engine types and including my Stroppe, you can look it up on here, a short video clip.

Edit: What I do not wheel is in my thumb nail.

You people with 4-door Broncos make me laugh.

What makes me laugh even more... a 4-door "Heritage" edition. I mean really! What were they thinking!

If the Bronco is just the vehicle du jour, then yeah, the 2-door rantings and ravings and ramblings will NOT make a damn bit of sense to you. You probably have a moardoor and will trade it in in a few years and move on to the next "thing".
If CJs, FJs, Defenders, Scouts, Broncos, K Blazers, and the like have been objects of intense desire in your life for 5 decades or more, maybe you get the 2 -door thing. Now if these vehicles have always been just out of reach for one reason or another for 50 years, THEN you probably understand how a dude might be a little butt hurt to see the object of his intense desire again fading away back into oblivion right before his eyes. I remember when the Bronco and Defender 90 died in '96 and the two door Tahoe/Jimmy died in '99, because I tried to buy each of them then but they were just beyond my financial means. Buying used back then was not what it is today, either. It was considerably more risky. And let's just say I had little to no respect for the AMC/Jeep/Chrysler corporate history.

Now today I am lucky and fortunate enough to have a 2-dr Bronco that is TOTAL PASSIONATE LOVE AFFAIR and also a 4-door Bronco that is useful.

This is what I mean. It's always someone obnoxious trashing 4 doors.

I've always been obsessed with FJs, Scouts, Broncos and Defenders since I was a kid. (I'm 47) The 110 Defender was/is a dream car of mine. As soon as I saw the new broncos I new I wanted a 4 door. I needed a 4 door for the room and the doors anyway, but the 2 door just doesn't look right to me. The proportions and lines are off. They don't have the classic lines or proportions of any of those classics. I'm a total gearbead and I know every vehicle is different. Some cars look better in 2 door and others in 4 door. I think the defenders/broncos/jeeps are better as 4 doors. The longer lines just make everything flow so much nicer. They look better with any lift and any larger tire. They nailed it with the 4 door. Literally the only Ford I would consider owning besides a GT40 or a clasic T Bird.
