Do you have a source for that? Can't tell if that was said in jest or if serious, given how the Boulder looks. Even in the high res auto show shots, it doesn't quite look real.

I also stumbled upon Hyundai's XRT lineup and the Crater Concept that was apparently revealed in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Color me surprised. I don't view Hyundai/Kia as being a real competitor for any serious vehicle, but I'll admit Hyundai does have some kinda-neat styling with a select few of their cars. I'm not big on the low-poly bodies or the futuristic looking interior, but the Minecraft-esque roof lights are interesting looking.

We have had vehicles on display (a Bronco one year, and a Sprinter the following year) in the LA Auto Show, in the Overland Display area (Where Dodge used to showcase their stuff). The Hyundai Engineers were all over the Overland vehicles both years I was there. Had a former Motor Trend guy tell me they were anxious to compete in the American Truck market.

This makes more sense then a full size truck, for them, but it does look too 7G and the interior looks fantastic but could easily be prototype vaporware to build the hype. I cant imagine it getting a ton of aftermarket support out of the gate or it being quite as rugged as it looks but who knows. Definitely Ford flattery at another level.

It looks like a warmed-over (new) Landcruiser. How many more car-like SUVs do we need on the market?

Now... if it looked like an old FJ40... that would have my attention.

This thing reminds me of a refrigerator and a bronco love child.
The concept even though real, they do not have the mechanics figure out from the pics of the undercarriage.

Are you taking about the stuff you can't see because of the full belly pan skid plates?

I ran a custom 3 link on my old 1 ton jku and it still had to have a track bar.
