At first I was pretty disappointed with this kit. I ordered it October 30th, over email they told me it would ship before the end of year. I actually received it in march. upon initial install I was pretty concerned with how tight the unibals were. it required about 100lbs of force to turn the steering knuckle without the tie rod being attached. this caused some early drivability issues where the steering was predictably heavy and the steering wheel would not return to center on its own. it was also disappointing to see that it only cycled 12". This is in line with what they advertise but I was expecting more considering that the icon coilovers cycle 11" on its own with the stock control arms.

I was surprised at how much better it did off-road despite only gaining 1". I've never owned anything like this before and it was pretty remarkable. the steering also pretty much immediately improved after driving it hard for a little bit. Its been 2 weeks and the uniblals are still very tight but has loosened to the point where return to center came back. it even handles a bit better due to the increased track width.

After its first shake down run I did want to dial it in a bit more. I noticed with the foam bump stop removed off the shock, the upper unibal binds with over 2" of shock shaft still exposed. in conjunction with a diff drop, I was able to add Some cheap lift spacers without any cv bind at full steering lock and droop in both directions. The uniblas are still not maxed out at droop. So with a bigger diff drop you would even be able to get more but I settled at 14" of travel. Which I'm absolutely stoked about. This did mean that my abs wire was no longer long enough. but I just switched it out for ford ranger abs sensors which are around 6" longer.

Overall I'm extremely happy. This kit was less than $4,000 on sale and I'll be a returning customer.

Nice.

how much did you end up with on the fdu drop? Also curious if you got a measured length for the lower arm when you installed? From frame pivots to ball joint?

what CVs are you using? I suppose 3.5” longer axle shafts. The longer shafts definitely help with the CV binding. What spacer thickness on top of the shocks did you go with?

Any idea where to find more pictures of their 3 link kit? It exists and is available for purchase, but I can't seem to find any photos that really display the kit and everything involved with it.

The lower arm is about 21.5". cvs are stock with just the wicked creations extension. I have 5/8" of spacers on the bottom actually. the top would be better because of the kick in the lower control arm makes the spacer sit at a bit of an angle. however to put a thin spacer on top would bind the icon shocks at droop.

I have the dobinsons diff drop but I don't actually know how much drop I'm really running. i sort of hacked up their bracket and shimmed my diff forwards. maybe aroung 3/4" of drop? no binding at full up travel and steering lock so you could probably drop it a little more. although it was already nearly impossible for me to get the outboard side of the cv into the knuckle. so to go any farther id suspect that you'd have to trim off some cv threads

I only see 2 reviews on the WC 3.5 LT kit. Wondering if yall have any updates. Was about to pull the trigger on the baja designs kit but saw the 3.5 and the 5" WC kit.
