Couldn’t find a thread with this setup. I want to use a Blue Ox tow Ascent towbar with the existing modular bumper recovery points. Measuring the recovery points thickness to be about 1.125” inch thick. I see Roadmaster towbar setups that work, but not Blue Ox. I hate to drop $1300.00 into purchasing a different tow bar. 🤞

You should be able to swap ends on the bar, run Roadmaster ends on a Blue Ox bar if bolt size is the same. My Blue Ox ends even came with bushings to fit the smaller Demco bolt. (My set up is Not modular compatible)

I left that out of my original post. Didn’t want to blather on and on. I have a set of those. I just hate to remove material from one or both connectors and/or the recovery points. .

We used the Blue Ox BX2692 on our capable bumper...it's not an actual tow bar, but replaces the D-rings on the front of each frame member, then you use the twist-lock fittings when you attach your tow bar. My only feedback to Blue Ox was to have the loops for attaching the safety cables angle inward instead of down; angling down has been cause for them to attack rocks while off- roading ;-)
