The bolts you included in my kit were M6 x 40 mm unfortunately the bolts they were to replace were M8 - additionally when I tried to follow up asking about real assembly instructions you never replied. Small is good, but wrong hardware and not replying to paying customers is not cool. I’d be hard pressed to recommend your product based on My poor customer experience.

I had the same experience. There is no or nil customer support. I had emailed and called multiple times without a response. BudgetBronco was more helpful in helping me assemble. I don’t think they have any Staff to handle support. My advice- do your homework and do some internet research as well as BBB.org.

I just installed my kit, and much appreciate this write up. As many have noted the instruction video is poor. I did end up missing a couple bolts, i sent them an email and the sent me some new bolts via amazon next day. So they were responsive when I needed help.

OMG how much does that weigh? 66 days would not even be reasonable if it was made from CF. Looks like came from local prison slave labor facility, thus the zero customer support.

I would feel so ripped off even if it was $100.

The Bronco aftermarket is a gong show from poor fit, low grade materials, low grade coating, missing parts and instructions, $2 plastic VOC off-gassing parts for $80, fake and no warranties, non-customer support.

Why not buy from alibaba at 90% discounts haha.

Lesson: Tread carefully in the aftermarket world where even big names are very risky.

Secondly, I just looked up this "storage" kit, they're $495! That's ridiculous! I just built mine from looking at another members storage setup and it cost way less than that, with more space! Us 2 door owners really don't need a backseat, it's pretty much pointless!

Haha blame Approved in America made in India Google ....my CN Harmony OS has no such defects in any language LOL with same typing practices.

Agreed on the back seat that's a very nice storage wonder how much it weighs and if you needed a spring uprating or spacers with full tank of fuel.

I've already posted what it weighed, in another thread (44.8lbs for the main part and 14.6lbs for the front piece)....., my Bronco is far from being stock, zero sagging in the rear and the storage is always full.

Thanks for putting this post together! I just received my setup from W&F this week, about the same turnaround time that you had. I was leery of the lack of online instructions, since the website and YouTube channel simply point to each other with no Bronco instructions.

Just installed mine today. Dagarbronc’s instructions were spot on and super helpful. I almost overlooked the small square piece that connects the very first 2 pieces he mentions (back wall connector) but eventually got there. As mentioned, needed to get M8-50 volts from hardware store to make it work; the 40s included with kit were not quite long enough.

Holds as much as my prior storage “system” (56 quart Plano small sportsman’s trunk) and way more organized. Side compartments great for hitch ball& extender, tow strap, etc.

It took a ton a of trail and error! I took off work for a week, as we had other plans planned and it rained, so those were ruined... I decided to just attempt it and it was finished! I'm pretty sure I made a whole thread on it? All Kraken did was take pics, I went more into detail! I'm not sure I ever added it up, but it wasn't cheap!

If I were going to rebuild it, I would probably raise the base up and additional 2", using 2x8's, instead of 2x6's, just for a little more storage.

Yours looks better than anything available commercially. I like the Goose Gear one but not for $1500 and the one from the OP is useless with the seats removed. I’m not much of a carpenter but will probably try to makeshift something that will work.

Sorry, I never added the price up and have no clue where the Lowe's receipts are? I do have a lot of woodworking tools/experience which helps though!

- The model with the seats removed and a flat surface that extends the entire way from tailgate to front seats in final stages of design. I am meeting them next week to test fit and do final tweaks, then it should show up on the website for purchase.

Did they ever get anywhere with this? they're still showing 'Pre-Order' on the web site..
