I was unable to find the thickness of the weatherstripping you were using, what was the best thickness/size that worked best on all the doors? I tried googling the codes used, but that didnt seem to pull anything.

Here's the product page for it: https://www.mcmaster.com/product/93085K556

1/2" wide, 1/2" height, 1/4" ID, EPDM closed cell foam

Resonix black sound absorber on all interior faces of plastic panels plus sound deadener on metal surfaces, everywhere, makes a huge difference. Also 1/2" closed cell foam on floors under the cover. Excellent value overall.

Can only do so much with the thin single pane glass though. Some 2" masking tape over the roof - windshield surround seam and mirror seams would be telling a story though....

Thank you that helped greatly, looks like I had to create an account to view the product on their site.

Was adding this to the doors very noticeable?
Yes, you can meaningfully hear the drop off of road noise.

2023 badlands sasquatch 4dr. Up to about 50mph I feel like the tire road noise is much more intrusive than wind noise. Will this door seal change make a big impact for that? Also, does everyone feel it's worth twice the cost to get the mcmasters? This looks like a similar product on Amazon for less than half the price. $80 seems like a lot for 30ft of rubber seal!

I feel it does. To the point I didn’t bother doing anything else, but then again I have a soft top.

No one is doing scientific testing on this….who knows?

You have the same exact model as me, and I felt it made a noticeable difference on mine. You can probably get away with other suppliers as long as the specs/dimensions are similar

Did you do the mat on the soft top or was that another person. Curious how that has worked with the soft top.
also weather stripping on the door or body? Seems to be split on that and didn’t know if there are pros and cons

I do use a Matt but only in the winter. Not as effective as the weather stripping though

Thanks. I'm going to order the mcmasters as I want to do this once and have it last. If this worked well for you no reason to cheap out and end up with poor results!
