Granger Has Received Bronco Raptor Allocations- 2% Under Invoice!!

Just FYI, the "Online Ordering Specialist and Accessories" person at Granger probably needs some training. I emailed asking for a quote. Told them I wanted only the black leather and carbon fiber options. She sent me back and quote and it seemed low, I looked closer and the $2495 for the black leather from the 2023s was missing on the order. I asked her if black leather was now standard and the reply was "It reads that way on the build"

After some confusion and research, it turns out that black leather is not standard and she thinks that "black onyx" means black leather. Not really in the mood to teach her about the car she is selling.

Little disappointed already with my 1st impression. They are also now asking for a $1000 nonrefundable deposit instead of the quoted $500

And income tax. Oregon has no sales tax, but those income taxes hit you HARD. All other thing s ring equal, I would much rather pay a sales tax than an income tax, because the former taxes consumption and the latter also taxes savings ... And generally speaking I am a significant saver. The last 2 decades have been brutal for savers and I have little sympathy for those complaining about high interest rates. Double them, I say

The income tax here can be high and ultimately a sales tax is more "fair" however the reason I left California 20 years ago was the combination of high sales/income/everything tax and their desire to trample on people's rights. Still buy cars occasionally in CA but I insist on the dealer meeting me in Oregon for transfer so I avoid the tax which many in N.CAL readily will do.

Great pricing. How can Granger do this and others selling Raptor's at MSRP....while some still want $15K over MSRP? In this economy, Broncos piling up on lots, Raptors not selling....you think the vehicle market would stabilize a little.

@DUSTYcazOREGON We are very competitive with our pricing! We get customer all over from different states who travel just to get our deal which truly means a lot. We have just been able to figure out everything and provide our deals still!

Yes, just like my initial email said. It is just frustrating when someone claiming to be a "specialist" doesn't know more about the product they are selling than I do. And after she was told it was wrong, she insisted that black leather was standard then tried to tell me that I never said "leather".

If I was not versed on this vehicle, she would have ordered me one with vinyl seats and I would have waited 6 months for a truck that I don't want and would then need to start over.

I spoke with her to clear everything up. I do apologize as she recently took over Broncos, but she has not ordered enough of them especially Raptors. I am sorry for your frustration as if I was in your position I would be too. You have a great business model. Thanks for doing what you do.

My thoughts are that they are being proactive and staying ahead of the market. 6 months ago dealers were still thinking they could get an ADM. 3 months ago, MSRP was a great deal. Last month invoice was doable. The trend shows that by the end of the summer, Ford will be offering some sort of % rate special to move the 23 Braptors or will adjust their MSRP like they did with other cars because something as to give with a 24 coming that is essentially the same rig as 2022 and 2023.

Bottom line is that it is really hard to justify $90k for a truck that is the same truck that was available for $70k 2 years ago and at a time when Ford is mass producing the F150 Raptor for $80k and a lot more utility, practicality and room than a Braptor.

Must have something to do with Iowa titling a new car before you can sell it. THIS caused me to take a "hit"; my state treated the registering of a new Granger purchase as a used vehicle. This placed it into a different set of procedures and hoops to jump through. But alas, so goes life.

Granger, the Granger Team and the order / purchase experience has been the best for us. We traveled from out of state to buy 3 times since 2022. We will purchase with Granger again!

The whole point of the Montana LLC is to establish residency, so as far as a manufacturer and the Montana LLC, it is all legit and the paperwork for their residency is accurate. There is no way for Ford to tell which LLC's are legit and which are set up for this purpose. It is 100% legal to have a Montana PO Box for your business. Not sure how Ford would be able to tell if a customer is really doing business in Montana or not and I doubt they care.

That being said, there are plenty of dealers that won't work with Montana LLC's because it is a pain in the ass and they don't really need the headache because they can be successful without doing that, many Porsche dealerships are like this. They know they will sell all the GT3's they get allocated without jumping through the LLC BS.
