The Toyo’s look really nice. Couple of questions if you don’t mind. How is the noise on the road - are they humming? Also, I noticed you don’t have mud flaps. Are they kicking up rocks? - thanks

22 Big Bend, non-sas, stock suspension. I had been running the BD steelies with 285/70/17 Falken WP At3's, but just upgrade to the RTR Evos at 30mm offset. Install was this morning, and it's looks even better in person! I think I'll need to clean up these tires tomorrow haha!

This may be a dumb question, but can you do an "off-set" with normal stock wheels tires? I thought you could only do off-set if you did bigger wheels/tires?

Anyway, I have a stock badlands (non sas) but want the wheels to poke out a bit more to improve its stance. Is this possible? Or would I need to do wheel spacers instead?

What you’re describing can really only come from a wheel spacer, which makes your wheel effectively a more negative offset.

A fatter tire can provide more poke, too, but only by half the added width of the tire.

I think stock Badlands tires are 10.5” width, so switching to a 12.5” width tire would provide an extra 1” of “poke” approximately. But I don’t think that will give the look you’re looking for.

FWIW, I'm not an expert so I'm happy to be corrected here :) . Offset is a wheel-specific thing, so obviously that depends on the wheel you use. To get a wider stance and simulate more offset without changing the wheels, then yea you'd likely need spacers (I don't actually know much about the impact on the ride/potential damage etc by going this route). I guess a third option would be narrower fender flares.

In any case, you also might want to consider mud flaps just to minimize the additional mud/rocks that will get thrown. Hopefully that helps!

285 70 17 Mastertrack Badlands AT tires and RockTrix RT116 17x9 +12mm offset. Wheel is only 25.5lbs and tire is 45.5lbs. prices were $115 for each wheel (RockTrix.com). Each tire was $139 (Walmart) the ride is great and I didn't have spend a ton of money to get the look I wanted. I had put non sas outer banks wheels and tires when I first got it and those weighed 65 lbs so only a 6lb difference. Bronco is a big bend w/3:73 gears and a 2" level kit. It stays in 10th gear at 55 on the highway and does not struggle so I am happy with that.

Can someone please help me. I looked at online and could not find the answer.

Will a wheel with the size below added to the stock Braptor tire allow for full suspension articulation/compression/travel and no rubbing anywhere.

17 x 9"
6x135 +0

Thanks
