I’m interested as well. But, would prefer something that’s easily removable for cleaning purposes (lots of salty beach air, etc) and also serves a purpose. We want the motor to stay as cool as possible in the summer and warm up fast in the winter…

Limited audience/customers, and I know it won't serve a real purpose, but geesh. That's a mess under the hood. For $60k? Look pretty!

Someone used the cover from the Ranger for the 2.3l. I also saw one for the F150 2.7l fitted to the Bronco, can't remember if it was here or on the Facebook page.

I do not know why but every hood sound deadening I have seen on any vehicle has been black.

Interesting... I already have it on mine, but it's a good concept. Like others have said, black is a pretty standard colour for these. Even on a white vehicle, it's still black.

That being said, even if I didn't have one, I wouldn't purchase this. Without clear indication on fire rating and safety specs, I wouldn't chance it. It gets extremely hot under the hood, and I would be concerned it couldn't hold up to the temperatures and extreme conditions. No offence to you or your company - You've come up with a lot of items that are exciting/needed, but this is one I wouldn't touch.

Just my opinion though.

@Mabett I was thinking of something would act like a sound deadening top that could work sort of like the Besttop bimini sunshade but made of sound deadening material that would fit under the soft top....

Are you talking about sunshade with soundproofing?

Just making the Sunshade out of sound deadening material doesn't seem to solve the noise problem

The idea would be for use while the top is up to help lessen noise, and can act as sun shade when top is down. After all, the hard top has a deadener….what about the soft top?

just a thought I had, if it’s impractical or not useful, I get it….
