is there an aftermarket alternative for the faulty engine block heater that could be installed so that we could maintain our functionality? Preferably using the factory install location?
Just as an update for anyone looking to find these parts: Ebay and other used parts sources have FAR better pricing on this part than any Ford dealer at the time of this posting. It makes sense intuitively that used parts would be less expensive, but I did not expect the extreme price disparity...
