No major off-road use yet. They do seem to firm up the ride on the street compared to the stock shocks but absorb bigger impacts nicely. I'll drop a note on this thread once I get some time off-road.
Went with WeatherTech as a cheaper stop gap option for the Sierra snow this season. So far so good. The front design is a little hokey because of the gap between the flare and the mud flap but there has not been a lot of snow build up on the rear flares. The included pictures are taken right...
I know the new Bronco was not purpose built to do donuts but... this is what happens when a 50+ guy has an opportunity feel like a teenager again, reliving memories in his 71 Bronco!
They are the shock replacement to the stock SAS Bilstein shocks. They have an adjustable ring to level or lift your rig. Install is pretty straight forward. The ride is a little stiffer than stock on the road but not too bad. Have not taken them offroad yet.
Hey there 3/14ers, great to see @Cysquatch, @ChompSticks and @mpmcgaughey still posting on the thread. Been a while for me... but loving the 2022 Badlands. Mods so far include Flowmaster FX exhaust, Hidden winch, lot's o lights and Bilstein 6100 shocks that added a 2.5 lift to the Sasquatch...
This might be a little late but just installed a new set of Bilstein 6100's on my Badlands SAS. On the front's I tried the method shown in the Lite Brite You Tube video. Spent about 3 hours taking things apart and then decided to reassess at the point of loosening the axle nut. Decided to...
Bronco lover since I can't remember! Starting on the left - 2022 Badlands, 1971 (Owned since 1986 frame off 2013-2015), 1975 fully stock... well almost, it has a little lift. Love seeing all the pics in this string.
Big Baby Brother has arrived at the 4C household! It feels kind of surreal, never bought a vehicle sight unseen but definitely happy with the purchase after waiting 660 days since my reservation.
Picture
Far right - 1975 uncut, driving, slow upgrade. (My wife's)
Middle - 1971 fully cut...
Any news on your rig? I am still waiting for the dealer to do whatever they need to do release it, but for some reason I am not as pissed off as when it was sitting down in Richmond. Hope you get yours soon! I'm thinking I will take ownership tomorrow or Thursday but we will see. Officially...
The Eagle (Bronco) has landed at the dealer.... finally! They said it might take them a couple days to get it processed due to the fact they got 8 vehicles delivered. One step closer!
I assume my Bronco is still in jail at the Richmond/Benicia yard. Yesterday my estimated delivery changed from 4.26 - 5.2 to 5.3-5.9. I did drive by the dealership on my way home yesterday and there was a new Red 4 Door sitting in the lot but not a Carbonized Gray 4 door. So at least someone...
