No rubbing issues. Wasn’t terrible to install. Just make sure you have a big rubber mallet to persuade it. And an impact to handle the torque specs. I can’t remember exactly what they were but very tight.
Just saw this. Thanks! It’s a Broaddict. Apparently a copy of the IAG version. The grille works great on the table just can’t have the top shelf flat with the grille lid open.
Don’t worry IAG got me back by selling me the IAG line Canvas Sun shade for $55. Can’t go over 35 mph without it trying to rip off the top. Completely useless.
Yeah. I have a machete attached to it but with that stove lid can’t have the top shelf down.
The Jet Boil is awesome! I just can’t justify the cost (yet lol). I do use a jet boil (small one)to boil water that I back pack with.
The Bronco will teach you real quick that you have to down size...
For anyone interested in a less expensive option for a 5lbs propane mount, the Flame King is $42. It has a flat back so easy to bolt to roof racks etc. I was gonna build one but this was faster and easier.
What are the fuel requirements for each performance level? Is there a description of each performance level somewhere? Wanting to know in case 87 octane is the only available option and if there is an economy setting.
Thanks
Yes, with the reinforcement plate. It does add to the weight capacity but none of the producers of the plate will say by what amount. I wouldn’t personally add any weight to it without one. I’m using the stock size spare but I do have a tailgate table(25lbs) so for peace of mind it’ll help.
I have the allied expedition on the way this week. In the instructions the max weight for the basket is 25lbs fyi. I plan on using it for overlanding for bulky light weight stuff so hopefully not a regret for me.
