Been going for years to Florence, OR but only have had the Bronco for two of our trips. Finally got the pass and flag attached, so hit the dunes for the first time. Sand mode did all the work for me, was so much fun!
This is great news, thanks! I believe this is the only recall I have left. Got the blank screen, blank reverse camera, and seat bolts all addressed. This was the only one there was no fix for. I'm curious if it's going to be a software-only fix and then a part will be needed later on...
I am not looking to store heavy things overhead, and while looking at nets and such I happened upon this:

I am hesitant about (what I assume is velcro) to attach to the felt lining, as I assume it's just...
Appreciate all the feedback that has been given. I am in the PNW so the "higher temps" aren't usually an issue outside of road trips East.
I guess, like others, we just have to wait and see. I do wish there was some preventative knowledge but sounds like Ford just doesn't know either.
Has there been any updates on this? Seems crazy it's been so long and I haven't heard anything. I did call my dealer but I got a generic answer of "bring it in for a diagnostic" which I don't think is going to do anything ... Sounds just like hooking it up to a reader and seeing what it says...
Agree with @HighVelocity , I use two on each box on top. Also, if you can, get the ones like Rhino that have the enclosed hook instead of open, that way it can't come out of the eyelet.
Eyelets and retractable ratchet straps do me well.

But that's when I'm going full camping gear and top box on top. I...
For what it's worth, I have the TrailRax and the config options are awesome, I can easily switch between kayak/camping setup. I ended up with this rack for the exact reasons (and some more) that @Summit981 mentions above. I have some pics in my posts as well as the parts to get the kayaks...
Followed a lot of this thread, appreciate all the tips that others have given as well as videos!
I got the G900Pro installed, just the front and rear. I went with the mirror power (not worried about sentry mode and such) but the touchscreen becomes unresponsive only for the view style...
22 Wildtrak (the later half) here, just got it.
I don't know the time frame but it seems this is going to be a long time before the fuel one is fixed. I have the camera recall but not the issue. The fuel pump is the one I'm worried about.
Can't speak for the others, but I have a Trailrax and my box can fit right on the bars without any adapter, I think some boxes have a 'dip' in the middle section so it can cause issues with some others. But I have the Yakima SkyBox and it fits fine. The side rail can be 'sort of' in the way...
Pretty sure it's 600, I'm not a light guy and my wife, myself, and my dog have all sat on the end and I routinely stand on it and load stuff and tie down stuff.
Agreed! I use it so much. It makes tying stuff down near the back so easy, just flip that out, then flip the window down and you have easy and full access to the top back there.
Good on you! I still haven't had a chance to really find something fun and easy around me outside of just easily paved logging roads that I could have done in my old car. I don't really want to 'rock crawl' but I'd love to at least see some cool trails.
