Would you mind expanding on just how big of a difference the noise is between the HT and ST? I feel like there is a lot of soft top praise on this forum, but I frequently drive 75mph highways (so the flow of traffic is typically 85-90mph) and at those speeds the soft top noise is pretty much...
Out of my 42k miles, I'd say 38k of those burned Costco Top Tier fuel. I'll go a little ways out of my way to fill up at a Costco, even when I'm on a roadtrip.
Did you happen to make any changes to your Bronco with Forscan? I disabled the double honk + added sport mode and Iāve not been able to receive any software updates for months now. No full-screen CarPlay for me! Iāve gotta wonder if making changes with Forscan is a factor here.
I had the same exact question months ago and did a deep-dive on this topic. First of all, hitch- mounted ski racks kinda suck, even with a long hitch extender! The swing-out tailgate with the Sasquatch tire still makes contact with the rack, preventing it from opening up fully. Pain in the butt...
Every time I rent a Tacoma or 4Runner, I'm always reminded how they drive like total dogs. They feel closer to driving a circa '90s GM truck or something, rather than a modern truck/SUV. This is true especially for the TRD Off-road trims, which have drum brakes in the rear as opposed to disc...
Badsquatch, 12k miles, tires once rotated here.
I was noticing a bit of increasing steering wheel vibration at faster highway speeds so I took my Bronco into Les Schwab for a quick tire balance, hoping it would solve the problem.
Holy heck. My Bronco has NEVER driven this smoothly - at ANY...
Either things break at -4°, or someone tried to pry their way into my Bronco last night. Iām leaning towards the latter since I was parked at a hotel last night.
The window seems to roll up fine until the last 20% or so, then it appears to āpop outā of its channel and ends up looking like this...
After a few drinks last night (didnāt drink and drive, donāt worry) my friend and I thought it would be a good idea to climb up onto the hood and lie down to stargaze for a bit. Like something out of a lame postcard, right? Unfortunately we saw more light pollution than stars, but aside from...
For the record, I didnāt payout any of that sweet ADM this time. Sill-Terhar Ford in Broomfield, CO was great from reservation to delivery. Thereās a doc fee but whatever, thatās pretty standard. There are still good dealers out there!
