The fact that they haven't pulled this known defective product while the updated housing is in development is why I won't be buying it, even when the updated version comes out. The product is a great idea but poorly executed and for its price point, should be made better.

When the update from Ford is available, the device will update as part of the process when you plug it into a computer (I believe step 1).

Be careful with weather seals and door edge guards if you are leaving them on full time. If you don't seal the open ends, they will retain dirt and water and cause rust.

This happened to me a few weeks ago for a few days, then it just stopped and worked as normal again. Try the window reset though, if you haven't already.
