I took delivery of mine in December 2021 and I didn't get the recall notice (yet). I don't think mine was on dirt mountain, but I'm not sure what those "environmental factors" could be.
I'm all about out of sight, out of mind with my gear. My underhood install has been amazing and so invaluable not only for my own Bronco, but for use on my family and friend's cars and bikes. It's one of my favorite "features" of my Bronco.
Being raised in the Seattle area, Filson has great brand recognition for very high quality and durable gear with a lifetime warranty, however, over the last few years, with a private equity company taking over the Filson brand, there's a lot more product being manufactured overseas and their...
I ran my 33s on my automatic non-Sas Badlands until they wore out. I then replaced them with 35s and removed the crash bars and had no problems at all. I did end up replacing the shocks with Eibach HDs as I also run a rooftop tent in the summers and I wanted the extra support for the extra...
I run mine on top of my Attic Tray, through the MIC roof and it works great. I have tow straps, ropes and more in the Attic Tray, so the Starlink just naturally wedges in that space securely for me.
I started seeing some cracks on the driver's side vertical portion on my 2021 with 60k miles and now that I got electric steps/sliders, I don't find that I slide in and out of the seat like I used to, despite being 6' tall. I think a lot of that type of wear is caused by sliding in and out of...
The fog light switch referenced controls just the set of fog lights in the bumper. I used Aux 1, 2 and 3 to control the other two sets of lights in the bumper and my ditch lights.
That’s awesome. Any thoughts about mounting that inside the Bronco? Like, ideally above the Aux switch bank if there’s room. Not sure about the windshield frame interference though?
Here's the Eibach Pro-Truck coilover 2.0 HD with no adjustment out of the box. Stock control arms, and everything else, on a 2021 2.3 Badlands non-Sasquatch with 35" KO2s
I have a tow strap and 30' kinetic rope (along with some other recovery gear)on top, in my attic tray and there's just enough room up there to wedge my Starlink Mini in that gap and it holds securely :)
I recently installed the HD Eibachs and couldn't be happier. I wish I did a better job of measuring before and after, but I had them installed right out of the box with no adjustments and it looks fantastic on my non-Squatch Badlands on 35" KO2s. I'd have to measure, but I'm definitely a bit...
Yep, and it’s still holding up great with no rattles aside from all the crap I have hanging from it.
@Beach_Bum , it looks like your forum link is malformed. Here’s the link
Yes, my order fulfillment station is the trunk of a 1970 Triumph TR6 project car. Don't judge me.
Got a new batch of product back from steel fabrication and powder coating. Both shops indicated that prices are about to go up, but I'm not sure by how much and whether I'll need to pass along...
I've never tried, but I would have to assume that the toplift wouldn't work as the attic tray fills much of the space between the roll bar and the rear of the hard top. There's a video on my product page that might give you more visibility into how/where it sits...
