I've never been a fan of that stuff. Works great for areas that are not very visible, (hinges when doing wraps or chrome deletes,), but I would never use it as a primary source of color. See above

I've been saying no to our locval customers for years. This will be my real world test. And again, end of the day, I still wouldn't recommend it.

Any imperfection will be visible. So yes, I can see the texture and wavyness in my middle panel, etc... Wrap does not hide this.

I don't think a ban of the product is the answer. I've had 3 prior and great experoiences. It's Ford's unwillingness to make it right, it's under warranty and should be fixed back to the condition I gave it to them in (visually).

How long has it been? I've been in the graphics/wrap business for 26 years. Unless they covered it in 3M primer 94, the adhesive is not strong enough to absorb into the texture, it's designed for paint-like smooth surfaces to be long-term. It can be done, but not recommended. For what it...

My line of work would be to wrap it, and unfortunately, these MIC tops cannot be wrapped. Paint is possible for a costly expense, but (1), I don't want paint and (2) I shouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket for a Ford issue. Greg

We prefer the matte black on most colors. Beinga s the spear area is a V notch, the color will double s two shades. This color variance works best with the matte black, ...or a two-color spear. Greg
