After seeing the front diff frame tab cracking, Bolts loose for the diff mount or broken or missing, The cheesy sealant fix for rusting shock reservoirs falling off, weak tie rods and front end components..........Im afraid to own my badlands for a long period. The ride is great and it looks...
The front ones will eventually do the same. Its a design issue. I just sprayed Fliud film around the Flange/corrosion prone area when it was only a couple months old. The fluid film will make it look greasy but wont drip on the ground like a shock leak
2 Dr 2024 badlands HT, 2.7L, Sas, Lux, was originally in the $65-$68K MSRP. I found 2-3 to choose from last Oct that were reduced $7K. I paid $59k. (they showed me the invoice price for $61K employee purchase price so I didn't haggle). Mid 50's is prob the best price youre gonna find. 2025...

Adjustable Bilstein 5100 upgrade all the way around would be...
Slippery mode is supposed to enhance the TC somewhat, reduce throttle and steering sensitvity.....where as just hitting 4A does not but TC is still on.
If plowing thru deep snow/drifts on unplowed surfaces I would use 4A or 4H and turn TC off so engine power is not reduced if needing to...
Its about Auto mode and DRL's make you stupid because most don't think and/or realize they have no tail lights or marker lights on when its daylight and foggy, rainy, or snowing.
At least using the running lights instead of Auto/DRL when visibility turns bad........If you forget to turn your...
In drive, parking brake set, Headlights manually set to running lights in day light.
Of course I would manually turn headlights on to drive in snow, fog or rain. The DRL's/Halo's are not as bright in Running Light mode of course but are on and not a big deal when visibility is not poor.
Its not about crash statistics..........Its about Auto mode and DRL's make you stupid because most don't think and/or realize they have no tail lights or marker lights on when its daylight and foggy, rainy, or snowing.
Running lights turns everything on except the headlights.........still you...
I've looked in window reflections when driving in Auto mode when not dark or extremly gray and gloomy..............no front/rear side markers or tail lights. Thats my point. With the running lights manually set you have Front and rear halo's and side markers. The front Halo's are not quite as...
