Always, always, always dc battery when you are doing any electrical or installs in the engine bay- best case you fry some fuses, it only takes a little effort to have something $$$$ happen when you donāt- this is true for any vehicle. Iām sure someone will tell me Iām wrong but this is free...
I have ran it for two years now- no issues, fully expected to replace it after 6 months. Works every time -take extra time to route the wires and heat shrink/solder connections well.
I did this. I already had the compressor. I only had to drill a few different holes in the mount (Barnes) ran the wires behind the cowling above the firewall. I chose to do a marine blade style battery disconnect vs wire to Aux switch or take the chance of direct to the battery and killing it...
2 door Square back, and kill the slant back donāt even want to see others with it.
Grey and Tan options -literally no reason why these donāt exist. I have owned both 2 gray and one tan softoppers for pickups that held up exposed for years - and softoppers were better before bestop bought them...
Wow! So many awesome posts! I started this because at about 6 months in as an owner I am asking myself if I want to or should be modifying it more. Exterior I have only added PPF on the leading edges, the IAG mini front flaps, and the Ford performance Bronco script emblems. So many good ideas...
Simple. Which mod(s) ,accessory, option do you āregretā and why- cost, look, performance etcā¦?
A āLikeā for a post means you agree- it shouldnāt have been done. Post your worst or your cautionary tales.
I am getting ready to install a lobo hidden winch skid with the same warn winch. Do you have any advice? Can you reach the free spool once installed? I have the Bluetooth connector for the warn did you use that or are you able to connect the controller as needed? Any info would help. Thank you.
agreeing with many other suggestions
-Decent hard top with sliding rear side windows
-Tailgate where the back window goes down into it (for the pups)
-long wheel base 2door
-removable rear seats, and flat floor when they are out
-analog tach
-hand brake
-bring back the base
-fully heated...
Possibly the easiest mod Iāve done so far. 15mins once parts were on hand.
- 3x quick fist tool grips
- 3x T30 M6 35mm bolts (replace factory bolts due to length.)
-Element E100 fire extinguisher
-Flashlight
-difficult to see also have combo window punch/seatbelt cutter on key ring.
not sure...
