Nice! Great to see a Base make it up! I haven't attempted the route from the West yet, but I want to give it a shot next time I'm out there. There's also a longer approach from the North that looks interesting.
@Zach@Granger I thought that it was optional for models with MGV & washout interior, but that it's now going to be automatically included as standard equipment on models with cloth interior.
I want to be able to wash the panels off. I'm hoping there will be a headliner delete option. If not, I might have to find a Black Diamond or Badlands owner who forgot to tell their dealer to add the headliner and then swap tops with them.
No, it is the bottom seat cushion of the rear seat, which tumbles forward to a nearly vertical position (up against the back of the front seat) allowing the seat back to be folded flat (or more accurately horizontal), as seen in this photo.
Why do you say this. Do you have some info I'm missing, or something I got wrong? Note that the gap I show is between the seatbacks, not the seat bottom cushions. I didn't dimension it, but it's about 1/2".
Sorry, I did not measure the footwells in front of the rear seat. I was mainly focused on the maximum length and width available with the seatbacks folded.
These dimensions were hand measured by me in Johnson Valley during KOH. The vehicle measured was the black pre-production Badlands trail rig concept.
I am confident in most of the measurements at about +/- 1/4 accuracy. I measured accurately to the seat supports, but the angle of the seat back...
