I would pay it no mind, I've gotten wrong answers pretty routinely from automotive accessory customer support reps, they're rarely familiar enough with the products themselves, I think these flares are pretty clearly designed to fit the Heritage/Everglades fenders, not the standard round fenders.
I have to imagine, if this comes to fruition, it will basically be what the Lexus LX is to the Ford Everest, where we'll only get the luxury version domestically of a more popular international product.
Interesting, I've been reading up on trying to swap my halogens with a set of factory LED taillights, from the sounds of it no one was able to wire them to get the amber turn signals working properly, interesting that this method just uses the third brake light wire to differentiate.
Ruby Red Metallic and Velocity Blue (For its sixth consecutive year) are the only two remaining colors that aren't an earth tone or shade of grey. What a terrible year for paint.
I met with a designer at Ford several weeks ago who works in the colors, material, and finishes department for the Bronco. I asked her if Orange Fury was coming to the Bronco as it was the Sport and Maverick, she seemed taken aback and then admitted she could not confirm, rather than denying it...
Hurts my heart to see this but I'm not surprised. The 1st gen Bronco was replaced by the F-150 based 2nd gen that was 20% larger, this just feels like the modern equivalency.
Based on the 60th Anniversary package, we can assume the 2026's will get grab handles on the A-Pillars, otherwise I don't think any major changes are expected. Heritage Limited Editions were the ones getting exclusive paint colors (though they later added Robin's Egg to the standard Heritage...
Found a couple pictures of the paint matched flares, I think they look really good in the same color, I'm hoping they release a set of these for the 2-Door sometime soon.
The preview they showed of the 60th Anniversary Edition Bronco looked completely unchanged from the '25, plus we probably would've seen a camouflaged test mule rolling around Detroit by now if there were any major changes incoming for 2026.
Did you ever manage to get an answer on this? I'm looking at trying to repaint my base grey dashboard brown and I'm trying to find a paint as close to the OEM Outer Banks brown as possible.
I know the Saddle Leather seats for the pre-production mule were a custom upholstery different from the Roast Outer Banks seats, but the dashboard, in that dark bronze plastic, I believe was the same. Nonetheless I've seen the OBX brown dashboard in person and am pretty happy with the color of...
Ever since Ford previewed this pre-production Bronco with saddle leather interior, I’ve really been in love with the look and hoped that I’d be able to eventually upgrade the interior of my Basesquatch to match it. While there’s quite a bit of custom upholstery throughout this concept, the...
Here's hoping my mental health never deteriorates to the point where I dig up 4 year old posts apropos of nothing to exclaim how excited I am at the prospect of getting an ADW at the behest of children carrying toys around.
