Yeah that seemed pretty apparent. I tried the DV8 crash bar end caps and the logical mount point with those would have cast a huge shadow with the modular bumper. Did you use some kind of bending brake on the brackets or just a vise and rage?

Just tried to replicate this solution. The rear side mount is easy enough, just your bog standard L-bracket with a long enough bolt, a wide enough washer on the other side of the frame, and a nylon stop nut to secure it. The front one is much harder to replicate with off the shelf parts. Both...
