I had mine replaced for the same reason under warranty. The paint matched perfectly (Iconic Silver). No noise since (well over a year ago). That’s only one experience, but it was a good one.

Thanks for this information. Regarding the Mabett light -- does it give significantly better lighting into the back seat area? That's what I'm most concerned with. I find the lighting in the cargo area to be about sufficient. I'm really looking to illuminate the back seat area more.

Yeah, one of my concerns is whether this F150LEDs dome light would be TOO bright back there and too white. It's always hard to tell about that.
