I used to live out in Utah for years, I have to agree with you on getting 4 MPG with the hills and wind out there!
I forgot to mention I was cruise control locked at 70 mph for 8.8 MPG for most of the trip. I did notice for the hell of it that when I dropped down to 65 I gained ~1.5 MPG for...
Bora Spacers in 1.5", bought a set of 5 to extend the spare tire as well. This ensured the rear tire didn't hit the tailgate. If I were to do it again, I'd recommend a 0.75 for the spare tire as I had to swap out the tire 'bump' things.
From my research going cheap on the spacers is right...
Gobi Stealth Rack installed. Still lots of accessories to add on, MaxTrax Mount, HiLift Mount, Limb Risers, Lighting Front, Rear, Sides, Wind Deflector.
Was a little surprised at the installation, was expecting about 3 hours, I'll be damned if it didn't take me closer to 6.
I went to Mike Ryan's they ordered and installed on my Bronco in 24 hours, did a good job, they sent else where for the alignment after coil installation, less impressed on how that turned out. Would go back to Mike Ryans again for sure.
Sounds ridiculous on the surface right? I bought a ~$2,800 exhaust system and operate it in a mode that suppresses the sound??? WTF man...
My personal experience is this when compared to the stock setup.
The stock modes are "flat", Quiet, Normal, Sport, and Baja. Each has a mostly...
The filter is a different shape (odd-semi-conical) compared to the stock one, so not exactly an apples to apples comparison on size, though I'd say its surface area is larger. Piping was extremely slick on the inside where it matters and matches OEM on the outside.
From my point of view, the...
Johnkn, I saw your post regarding that question the other day and did take pictures, lost track of the post, but I hope these pictures help you out.
I can't say anything for certain because I still have the stock box in there
Next week we shall see if the country decides to begin to get our shit together or step further into the abyss. I hope we make the right choice based on reason and logic, that stated my family is mentally and kinetically prepared for the safari should the escalation materialize.
On topic, I'm...
I hear ya! I tried to buy the tires at my local tire / off road shop, but their distributors didn't have the model / size in stock. Trailbuilt did - or so they claimed! Would not recommend. Side note, their acknowledgement of the mistake was we can refund you $75 for your $2,600 tire...
Obligatory not today, but over the last few weekends.
Installed FP Tune in the driveway
S&B Intake
UPR Dual Catch Can
Borla ATAK Split Rear Exhaust
Wolfbox G930 Rear View Mirror with Camera on Spare
Won a fraud CC dispute with Trailbuilt for sending 3x wrong tires. Thanks you epic jackasses...
I can't fault that logic one bit! I've been blessed by God that I have the truck which is paid off and have two other vehicles that are my daily drivers. I consider this a very expensive toy that keeps me entertained by tinkering in the driveway (garage Noped with 40"s) when I'm not with the...
@vrtical , I'm in a similar situation to you, going on a vacation with the fam for a bit and its looking like the Procal would be arriving while I'm out...
Shout out to @LethalPerformance for offering to hold my Procal and ship once I return. Much better solution over canceling the order...
Pics attached, with just a quick level and a tape measure, it appears that the Cooper is coming in around 38.75" and the Mickey is 38.50". Little tough to get a good level shot so could be off a bit. Poke is out around 2" all around, going to take the guards off over the weekend.
Hopefully...
First post, 2024 Shadow Black, I can provide another confirmation that with the Eibach front 2.7" and rear 1.1" fit without rubbing. Bora 1.5" spacers installed all around as well to give that poke.
Can't comment on articulation as they were just installed.
Front tire is Mickey Thompson Baja...
