If it was offered in a 2D, I'd be interested! Would be more interested in a 2D Raptor (Cliffhanger).
Also.... I'm not in the 30-50 crowd, nor in the "for those who the Raptor doesn't appeal to" that has been mentioned in prior comments.
I am in the early 60's, Single, Retired and can afford...
I'm still waiting on the image/gif of the Folding Chares being tossed into the Boxing Rink......
(yes... I've been on this forum for a long time......)
Now.... where did I put my Popcorn?
I know that Ford has more than likely set the design for the 2027 but if some items aren’t set in stone yet, I’d like to make some suggestions. The ones that I've listed below are basically for the 2 door, as that's what I'm interested in…..
-2D Raptor!!!!!! (aka.... Cliffhanger)
-Please make...
For the 2Ds
Sliding Rear Cover Side Windows
Manual Hand Emergency/Park Brake for Broncos with MT.
Swing away spare tire carrier.
Drop Down Tailgate.
MTs available with All Engines.
Cliffhanger (2D Raptor)
All of these are easily doable. Just need to send the Bean Counters away for a Team...
Is it just me that wants to see a lot of failures with a lot of these electronic modules that control key systems?
It's just that I "believe" that these electronic modules do have their place on Non-Offroad Vehicles, but question the usage of then on a vehicle that marketed as a capable Offroad...
Looks like the "Bean Counters" gained even more control over the design than the Marketing Group.
#FoMoCo ...... This Was/Is a BAD Mistake which should be corrected!!!!
Correct.
Maybe #FoMoCo should look into designing a mechanical leaver that can override the angle limit momentarily for off road situations, as the Bronco is advertised as an off rode capable vehicle.
smh..... just think that this would be a Non-issue IF #FoMoCo would just use the Tried & True design.......... you know...... the Manual Hand Park/Emergency Brake Leaver.
On the video above, at/around the 1:30 mark it was mentioned that the RTR was One of Two New Vehicle Relaces for 2027........
Something in the Bronco Family or one of the others???????
As a Single Old Guy, "My" comfort within a vehicle that I'm owning/selecting for my personal usage requires it to be comfortable to Me. The 2D currently fits that requirement, as the "B" Pillar of the driver's door area is further aft than it is on the 4D, hence, for me, it's comfortable. The...
@crenca , for one, the Wrangler still has the Manuel Emergency/Park Brake. Which is a totally different system vs. the current total electric system on the Bronco. By being two separate systems, it helps to eliminate the possibility of total brake systems failure. It also allows the use of the...
I've been on this forum for a long time, just look at the date in my avatar...
To date.... I haven't purchased a Bronco. There are things that IMHO FoMoCo hasn't captured enough of the OG Broncos. Too many electronic modules controlling too many critical systems, that if they fail, you're...
