That is not good for MTBs. Especially full-sus bikes. All the road movement can blow out the shocks without support for wheels. The wheels jerk down stressing the shocks in a direction they are not made for.
I have the Pivot v1 and the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 on our Jeep. I have been very pleased.
I plan on getting the Pivot v2 for the Bronco and switch the Sherpa back and forth as needed.
I had to get a part for the v1 when I first got it and Kuat’s support team was fantastic!!
I recommend Mid-Tenn Ford Trucks here in rockin’ Nashville, TN. They are a truck-only dealership. Davis Alexander was great to work with and provided great service. They look out for their customers!!!
Well, my Bronco has arrived at the dealer and I can pick it up tomorrow. After all the waiting, life has found another way to laugh at me. I busted my collar bone in a mountain bike accident over the weekend and am awaiting surgery for that. My wife will get to enjoy the Bronco until I can...
The CSX ramp in Nashville? Mine has been there for over 2 weeks. Dealers can’t go pick them up because of a union contract, so they just sit there languishing. My dealer is only 4 miles away.
I just went by the CSX auto ramp here in Nashville and there is way over 100 Broncos sitting on the lot waiting to be delivered to Mid-TN dealers. However, not much action on the car carrier front. One lone car carrier loading Chrysler products. 🤨.
My dealer said the same thing. Something about contracts and unions. My dealer is 4 miles from the rail yard and Ford is stating a delivery window of 8/11-8/17. I can’t believe it will take that long to go 4 miles.
“Empty” means CSX has unloaded the car. It doesn’t mean that your truck is on the way to the dealer. My Bronco was unloaded last week. CSX was showing the railcar unloaded but my truck is still sitting on the ramp at the rail yard. I don’t think CSX tracks your vehicle past unloading. If...
