So this likely won't be well received, but figured I'd share since this group has been through a lot together over the past 19+ months.
My 2 door Black Diamond Squatch arrived at the dealer a couple weeks ago. I went to go buy it - expecting to trade in on the spot, brought along my extra fobs...
It appears that they are working on some of our "in production" orders this week while they shut down the new builds - Many people who were in purgatory have seen their mods pop the last couple days. Encouraging.
Holy cow. Mine is build week 12/20, still showing "in production" on 1/3, estimated delivery date 2/10. Based on your update for an actual built Bronco, I should expect a few months more delay.
Checking out some other threads - tons of people had their estimated delivery date change overnight, most into May 2022. There are major problems jamming up some of these build weeks, ours included. Ford has a shit show on their hands.
I have modules and a sticker, but no other updates. "In Production 1/3", Estimated delivery date 1/29 - but still pending on the palsapp.
Many others in the 12/20 group are getting baby photos, built status, emails, tracker updates, deliveries, etc. But there's a big group that are in purgatory.
There's some kind of problem with the Black Diamonds - in the 12/20 build week there are a ton of BDs that are stuck "in production" with no updates. One theory is the capable bumper switchover from MY21 to MY22.
I'm still not sure what the OP was trying to say - maybe it's a rant about the resale value of First Editions being similar to other lines? But when I look at Autotrader I see dozens of Broncos in the ATL area, $60-$100k. I could flip mine for $10k minimum (if Ford could actually finish...
Same. It would be one thing if I were trading up from an old Toyota or something but the Jeep I'm driving is an absolute gem, probably my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. Seeing all of the Broncos on Autotrader priced from $70-100k, and the bad Ford customer experience I've had so far....
