If anything, the clutch mechanism is working too well
While you "can" use 4a on dry pavement, I would take care to avoid tight, low speed turns in it because it will be locked.
Yeah but if you're not using it every day that's fine. (For me anyway) And that's probably replenishing about 120 miles of use, no one wants to be driving that penalty box for 120 miles - you're running errands or doing the odd commute in it.
You're right, everyone is in a different situation.
For me, a 30k truck is a completely different animal than 80k. At 80 it has to do everything.
A 30k truck could just be a spare vehicle, doesn't have to do everything. And you could just charge it on a regular ass 120v 20a outlet no problem.
Ty for actually using numbers and not just old man shaking fist at clouds.
Numbers outside of CA (for me) are more like $4.10 and 0.16c/kwh. Fairly similar
You can't both have money and spend it. It's fine if you like throwing your money away at the gas pump but I would rather not.
The idea that an EV is a "throwaway" car while we are driving cars with STRUCTURAL CARDBOARD is pretty funny.
For the record, I don't own an EV and make at least...
