I was close between a 25 Heritage and a 25 BB SAS, ended up with the BB SAS. I donāt think about the painted hard top, but Iām rolling the dice with the MIC.
I was looking for the most off road bang for the buck, not necessarily looks, so the additional bash plates and vinyl fit my bill better...
This is awesome, and so looking forward to the footage. This will make a sweet watch on YouTube, even for my kiddos to watch.
Testament to the Bronco as a machine, but more so what seems to be a rather novice team (not a dig at all, just that this isnāt a seasoned Baja racer, pit crew, $200k...
Depends on which YouTube expert you watch. Pizza Cutters seemed to be recommended for deeper snow, but Iāve recently read that wider is still better overall.
That said, I had the same model as OP. Donāt have budget for new tires but when I do, Iāll probably look at going narrower.
Iām with ya there. To me it takes away from the more rugged look or something, makes them look more like a street/luxury vehicle, a la the new land cruisers.
I hear ya. I did a Big Bend with the SAS, I. That trim you needed the āBlack Diamondā package as well just to get to SAS. But I figured this way it was pretty much done from the factory. I wasnāt looking to spend $6-7k just in suspension, and then not have the same gearing, etc. Similarity I...
By the time you lift it, put aftermarket wheels/tires on and swap flares, youāre back to a SAS? š¤ Unless you are just gonna do like a highway tire and no lift.
Just so that people can be in the right frame of mind, the stock tires are not āMud Terrainā but rather āMax Tractionā. Blame GY for the misleading stamp, with People thinking they are on a mud tire. Youād definitely hear it if it was a true mud tire.
Oof, Hurts my heart that you basically called me out haha. Got a 25 BB SAS 4 door in that exact color, but at least I got it for around what they want that two door for. Maybe in a few years I can make a post digging at the same Bronco being $100k to ease the heartache ;)
Iāve got a 2025. Finally got a chance to get off pavement, maybe 20 miles of double track. They definitely collect rocks, and dispense them.
I noticed the rubber getting a bit chewed already as I was digging out rocks. About 650 miles on the truck so far. Sidewall looks decent, actual tread is...
Thatās odd for sure, especially that first photo. I just picked up a 25 BB in Marsh Grey last week. The hood had 2-3 spots that looked like āholidaysā to me, like a spray spot 2ā where the clear coat was compromised almost. Even the sales guy said good eye, he never noticed those. They were...
