It sounds crazy but the markup is all relative to how much you have. Crazy to most of us but to the people purchasing these it's probably like the difference between gas being $4.05/gallon compared to $4.049999.

I agree for the most part. If Ford can implement a hybrid version of the Bronco by '23 I think that will put it over the top for me and others that are wanting to be a bit more gas/environment-conscious.

Oh I'm aware. I'm just at the point where I need something that has moderate off-road capability and the hybrid engine is a real selling point for me.

Just a theory (and probably wrong) but I could see many, if not most, manufacturers cut their production of MY '21 vehicles short so that they can save the chips for MY '22.
