  1. MPG! Not complaining.

I've got a base with manual. I regularly get 26-27 MPG on the highway at 70 MPH (flat and at sea level). I decided to try drafting on a 20 mile stretch and got an average for that 20 miles of 35 MPG - crazy how much wind resistance affects the Bronco mileage. Yes, I know that's using the trip...
  2. FordPass app vehicle location issue

For at least a few days now, my Ford Pass app says my Bronco is in Dearborn, MI but its in my driveway in South Florida. Called Ford Pass and they said its a know issue and they are working on a OTA update. Wondering how widespread the issue is?
  3. exhaust smoke…lots= Engine Replacement

Unload it through your state's lemon law, then buy a replacement. Prices are down and in-stock Bronco as available.
  4. Ford Accessories Awful Customer Service

Similar experience. Ordered floor mats using Ford points. FedEx lost the shipment. It took two months of calling before they finally refunded the points for the lost shipment.
  5. Swirl marks in clearcoat from factory?

Usually this is from the dealer washing it. When I ordered my Corvette last year, I told the dealership to not wash it during PDI for that reason. When I got my Bronco I let them wash it, I wasn't really worried about it as its my "utility" vehicle.
  6. How can water enter the engine?

How about filing an insurance claim? Not sure, but you comprehensive might cover it. Kind of like if you ran into a tree or backed into something.
  7. White MIC hardtop wrap -- DIY'd with 3M vinyl

Did you paint or PlastiKote your wheels white?
  8. Splotchy Paint - Iconic Silver - Anyone Else

If you are going to keep the Bronco more than a few years, just live with it. While a respray will look great, it will not hold up over the years like the factory paint. A respray will look much worse in the long run. I had an accident a few years back in my Honda, the hood was resprayed...
  9. Dealership can't get the alignment right

Is the Bronco pulling to the left if you let go of the steering wheel or is it just that the steering wheel is off center when driving straight? Those are two very different issues. If the Bronco drives straight with hands off the wheel but the steering wheel is just off center, then its...
  10. Pics of backlight wiring to DRL, parking lights or headlights?

Has anyone hooked up the backlight to the Bronco's blinkers? I was thinking this would be useful to have them blink on and off with the respective side blinker. My thought is to wire the backlight to the blinker wires in my trailer connector so no extra relays needed.
  11. Ford Pass Points - How is everyone using them?

From the Ford website - FordPass Rewards Point balances expire and are forfeited when a member has not earned Points, redeemed Points or fulfilled a reward earned through FordPass Rewards for 365 consecutive calendar days. App usage does not qualify as activity needed to keep Points from expiring.
  12. Curt Trailer Wiring Harness Issues

Nope, no inspections, no emissions, no state income tax (y)
  13. Curt Trailer Wiring Harness Issues

I suppose it depends on where you live. Here in Florida, surge brakes are common as so many of us have boats. Boat trailers don't typically have electric brakes due to being dunked in water all the time.
  14. Curt Trailer Wiring Harness Issues

Not quite true. Most boat trailers have surge brakes and use a 5 pin connector. Of course there are converter plugs for 4 to 5 pin and 7 to 5 pin, with the 7 to 5 pin better since it has a reverse circuit.
