  1. Snapped a Tie Rod … thankful for trail mates

No problem, I’m glad it all worked out so well.
  2. Snapped a Tie Rod … thankful for trail mates

Yeah that splint was wort it’s weight in gold. I was surprised it worked so well with the rocks Wes still had to climb to get out of there. @Copperhorse73 thanks again for leading the group too. That run was a madhouse yesterday with all the traffic!
  3. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Those four empty bolt holes were begging for some custom brackets. Those look great, good idea! I see you packed your Bronco hammock too.
  4. Fire Extinguisher Mounted Pics - Post Em!

I'm curious if your rear rubber mat has a picture on the passenger rear underside indicating a cutout spot for a fire extinguisher. My same mat for the four door has the dotted outline showing where to cut the mat to accommodate what I assume is a bracket for a fire extinguisher. I haven't...
  5. Help needed: Dead Battery, where is the shift lock override? (aka Brake Shift Interlock, page 180 of manual)

Nope, just thought provoking. I'm glad you brought it up because now I know where the interlock is at and otherwise I would have waited until I was stuck with a dead battery in the same situation before researching it.
  6. Help needed: Dead Battery, where is the shift lock override? (aka Brake Shift Interlock, page 180 of manual)

Hmm that is interesting.. it would suck to have a manual parked on a hill in a high gear with brake set and battery die then it start rolling. I guess we could put the brake on and disconnect the battery lead to see what happens. I did find out at the Off-Rodeo that if the brake...
  7. Fire Extinguisher

I installed the factory rubber rear cargo mat and saw a cutout on the underside for a fire extinguisher. It would be located on the right rear, beside the cutout for one of the lasso tie down loops. Has anyone seen a factory extinguisher mount? If you zoom in you can see the tiny picture of...
  8. MommaLongNips's Bronco Build

I know, how much innuendo can you fit into one post? 1. How do you like my "rack"? 2. Mommalongnips and to top if all off he was getting gas at the Kum and Go. The build looks great and the wrap is amazing!
  9. URE (Uwharrie) Bronco Weekend get-together?

None the less they offer better coverage than the factory rails and can be used as a step too. Looks like a good body mounted option. (y)
  10. URE (Uwharrie) Bronco Weekend get-together?

Who made your sliders? They look good.
  11. Do all bronco’s have this?

I had a separate card in my glove box with the default code. I of course programmed my own but later found the code under the dash. I tried it but it did nothing. 😏. It would’ve been pretty darn cool if it transported me to Bronco knoll. 🤪
  12. Do all bronco’s have this?

It’s on my Lux and the code isn’t the same as the default keypad. Never investigated any further to see what the deal is with it.

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

Nice! I see you got a roof rack on a 4 door with Sasquatch. How did you work that out? Did you order the roof rack separately and add it after you took delivery? Originally Ford wouldn't sell it with the rack due weight constraints. Non-the-less, you nailed it with the hard top and roof rack.
  14. Routing Power for Ham Radio

I contacted Tera Flex about making one for the Bronco and their response was we don’t plan on it. I asked for bolt hole measurements to see if I could modify it for my hinge on the Bronco. But it was too far off for me to feel comfortable ordering one to attempt modifications and be left with a...
