I did an wheel travel articulation test on my stock Badlands on 33s with two ramps, front driver and rear passenger. Here are the results:
Front Droop 4.75in
Front Compression 5.4in
(total travel front 10.15in)
Rear
droop: 7in,
compression: 5.1 in
(total travel rear 12.1in)
Hope this data can...
I have replicated his test with my current stock Badlands 33s 4 door sway bar disc and will repeat it as I change components. Here are the results:
Front Droop 4.75in Front Compression 5.4in (total travel front 10.15in)
Rear droop: 7in, rear compression: 5.1 in (total travel rear 12.1in).

To keep my engines clean I just always kept the habit of doing a couple hard accelerations everytime my oil temp in fully warm. I live in northern Canada, sometimes if Im only driving a short distance, I will take a detour to let the temps get fully warm and do my pull before turning it off...
I just ordered the 6112 with springs for my Badlands. I suppose, its got more stroke range in the rear than the stockers but havent found the data anywhere. Ill ask the shop to check when I throw them on in the spring
I live in northern Canada, in the mountains. So winters are rough.
Ive run General ATX, K02s and Toyo AT3 from brand new to 20 000kms. I would buy them just before winter cause I wanted true 35s and
They were ok even in the worst conditions brand new but towards spring time they were bad and the...
Ok the information is tough to find on them. I was told the Bilstein aftermarket shocks are extended. in that case looks like Icon are better suited for my needs. Thanks
Hi, they are larger diameter and apparently the shocks are longer than the oem esv. They offer lots of adjustability and are easy to get locally. Shock surplus has good reviews on them so they really seem like a bargain.
I have a Badlands on 35x11.5 that I want to lift +2-2.25 front and +1-1.25 rear.
In your experience, for such a small lift, are rear trailing arms necessary to get a good alignment?
Yes as a mechanical engineer that has been wheeling for a while, Im aware of the mechanical advantages provided by a solid front axle for articulation. I chose the Bronco becauseI travel annually 45 000 km in northern Canada and although I offroad every week, having a quick and somewhat agile...
They are all appealing. The thing is Im sure they all perform very well on the road and are plenty comfortable for my taste. since the Bronco’s articulation tends to be my limiting factor on the more difficult local trails, I figured it should be my priority.
