Okay. I’m down to the HookeRoad vs RockHard.
Did anyone else compare the two and choose the RockHard?
The difference to me seems to be the easiness to install + aesthetics + aluminum + 2x the cost for the Rockhard.
The RockHard looks very clean, I admit. Otherwise they both have about the...
I went 3000 miles. Planned to do it at 1000 but dealer said no… keep the factory oil in longer.
I do notice a better (tighter and stiffer drive now. More responsive and I like it). I asked about axel, transmission and transfer case too (to change fluids re break in period), and they said 30k...
You got this, right? https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/BR6-BSK.html
If yes, when I measure the depth in my OBX I get 20” or so to cover back seat to tailgate. This says it’s only 13”. But your photos look like you have full coverage.
Can you tell me more? Does that product link above actually...
Here is what I’ve collected so far as product options:

Seems like canvas might be better for locations that rain in the summer…I live in CA and it’s a desert here once the winter and early spring wrap up.
Also seems like mesh tops are much better at overall quality (sound/Uv protection/viewing the stars) than in the past.
I’m debating between the canvas vs mesh open top covers. Curious to hear from others on why they chose one over the other. I’ve got a 2024 4door OBX.
My goal: I want to enjoy all three tops off while driving for the spring/summer but concerned about sun scorching the leather seats and too much...
Okay. Finally had time to install the tow hitch.
Short story: Super easy! Less than 1hr.
Deets: I’ve got a 24 OBX. Bought the Ford Tow Hitch package that included the wiring.
I installed the hitch but I did not connect the wiring in the side wall yet. I’ll do that when it’s needed.
Tow...
Same for me. Squishy sound since I’ve owned it (2,500 miles now). Will ask dealer as I bring it in for the first service shortly. Have you learned anything else about it yet?
Okay. That is what I was thinking. Turns out the 2024s have a different setup and Amazon says the Curt does not fit the 2024s. I really like your idea of the 4pin use to avoid the dealer costs. I can pull off the bumper, add the factory tow kit (that appears to be the only supported hitch at the...
I think you nail it on the head based on all my research. Thank for the summary.
I just bought a 24 and the closest dealer who says they will install per the Ford accessory website is 100 miles away from me. I'm still under 1000 miles break in so maybe I wait or use this drive to get to 1000...
