Did you have the extra padding added to the steering wheel and how is it holding up? Going the same route, base wheel, but thinking having Redline do a blue vinyl stripe at 12 o'clock instead of leather.

I almost forgot, amongst my highly illegal items, tint, deleted front maker lights with paint to match vinyl wrap, I deleted the third brake light completely, shrink wrapped the plug and zip tied plug to wires inside of tailgate👍🏼
I bought the vintage grill off ebay, I think RPM ford is cheapest $219 but I don't know if there legit, but buckle up offrroad is legit at $349. I had a local body shop fill in all the holes with filler for BRONCO letters, but if I did over again I would get the house door kick plate piece from...
So the rear, to start MBRP dual exhaust, powdercoated blue rear dual tow hooks to match the front, Fab Fours standard rear bumper sandblasted and powdercoated gloss black, color matched Ford oval, 1966-1977 Ford Bronco FORD rear tailgate letters with outline in satin black, tinted oracle flush...
I agree about the vintage Bronco's. I had choice words typed but thought better to post. The great thing is we all have a story and a reason why we bought what we bought. Then some are content as is and the rest of us love it as a hobby as a direct reflection of what we want it to look like. And...
First and foremost, I had a 2 door reservation but my wife got pregnant with our daughter so I had to switch to a 4 door and I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world. Someday my daughter will get this one as they are both a 2022 model year and I will build a 2 door like my original plan...
Regarding the rubber welting I added, I stripped all mounting tape off and got 3m, I did mounting tape rubber welting and another layer of mounting tape. The 3m 1/2 "best" is alot thinner so the added layers don't affect it. I used adhesion promoter wipes on each layer as well. I bought small...
I had a 2 door reservation but my wife got pregnant with our daughter so I had to switch before build, but I'll have a 2 door as well some day. The tire carrier is RTR I hot through Ford dealership, I used some rewards points but $1,500 retail. It's very modular, accepts a jerry can bracket...
Just to finish off edge as the KBD polyurethane flares are far from perfect mold so a little way, CJ pony parts for a 1966-1977 Ford Bronco. Also the KBD's are terrible to get oil out to paint without fish eggs. Also can have pin holes as they are injected into mold.
I have been through many phases with my Bronco build, trying to get it just right to pay homage to it's forefather the Gen 1. This is my interpretation brought to life of what I think the Bronco should have looked like from the factory or atleast a model version. The KBD fender flares are not...
