I went with a wireless 4 switch pod after having 3 switches dangle for a couple years. Like you I have a OBX Lux non-squatch and no aux or hero switches.

The RC Bronco mini game is strong lol. I have TraxxasTRX4 Broncos, a Tamiya 10th scale 2 door, SCX10.3 Early Bronco, then these. TRX4M in the back, Axial SCX24 back right, HPI Racing Venture18 back left, and the new Axial SCX30 up front. 30th scale is TINY. Need wheels for the SCX30 (which...
My V2 was ordered Labor Day weekend and finally arrived on 11/9. My box had minor damage and only the green powder coated tubes had similar damage as OP. When I assembled mine on 11/9, I watched their install video. Some time between when I got mine and that video was made, they made a...
I bought the sub level knob for the Kicker KEY500 but didn't end up using it. I do my adjustment with the factory setting. The knob would give you a little finer control over overall loudness but otherwise not a necessity.
These are separate items. Your separate aftermarket sub / amp are one "channel". The only factory channel bypassed by this is the sub channel. This is also only applicable to B&O systems and the 7 speaker base systems.
In the B&O system if you want to amplify the 4" and kick panel locations...
There is no bypassing the B&O Amp/DSP (same unit) without incorporating a new DSP. There is no tuning of the B&O via ForSCAN. If you want tuning you are adding your own DSP and amp(s). I really want the MOBridge dsp/amp as a complete solution. At some point I'll add that then I'll have total...
There are no FORScan changes for B&O systems. Regarding the sub, yes you can put in a Kicker 8" for example but there is some trimming of the factory enclosure needed. You're still going to have vibration and "slap". You may find when you take out the rear panel (& floor to get to the rear...
My Kicker Solobaric 12 (shallow) is 300W RMS per coil, 600W RMS total. The KEY500 is a great match. I do wish I had (2) 12s at times but that's in part because I have (2) Kicker CompR 12s in my Edge ST running on 1000W RMS at 2ohm in a slot ported box. Totally different animal but also a B&O...
I disconnected it in my 22 and in my wife's 23. Although the 23 had less rattle because of the revised panel clips, it still got tinny depending on what we listen too. In mine I keep the bass at the middle anyway or one notch below, sometimes 2. I have the gain on the KEY500 a little higher...
My sub box is sitting in the middle of the cargo area as close to the seats as I could get it. The box is shallow enough that I can lift the floor storage door without moving the box at all.
The B&O sub is 7.75". Some 8" will fit with less modification to the stock enclosure while others may require more. Ragnarkon has a video showing this. Ksjrb03's thread shows that a Kicker CompR 8 fits with less modification than what Ranarkon went with.
Thank you for that info on the repurpose of the speed sensitive setting. That is awesome. I plan to leave an access cable anyway but that feature gives me fingertip changes. I never used all 10 presets with the Sony products. We set up maybe 6 different presets and I only used 2 or 3. Most...
You will still need to run a minimum 8awg wire from the battery to the cargo area, and then a short ground which you can use the factory ground near the stock sub enclosure, if upgrading the B&O sub. If you do a separate sub box, then you want that ground to be as close as possible. If you put...
