  1. BILSTEIN ESCV Bronco suspension / shocks explained - "End Stop Control Valve" Dampers (Bronco HOSS Suspension w/ Position Sensitive Dampers)

Using shims or deflecting discs in automotive dampers is the norm. There is a tremendous amount of work done to be sure the valve stacks meet the OE durability cycles. Sometimes the components are tested individually to 2x lifespan as stated in the OE's durability requirements. The Bilstein...
  2. Perch collar level / lift for Sasquatch from RPG

The 5100's do not have ESCV and the coil that comes in the kit is made to those lift positions so that it doesn't go solid.
  3. Perch collar level / lift for Sasquatch from RPG

A few things to be warry of with a spring seat spacer kit for those with Bilstein dampers: 1 - With the stock Bilstein dampers, there is ~1.9" of FA damper travel and and ~3" of rear damper travel from curb height before ESCV engagement in the rebound direction. On the front damper, you will be...
  4. 4WP coilovers - feedback / review?

I've resisted replying to this... There is no way these dampers are able to maintain the stock travels...the rear of the Bronco is a very tight package for the given damper stroke...in order to package a rod down coilover a remote or piggy back reservoir is required... Even the rear King's...
  5. Broken Bronco seen on Facebook

I think you meant to say deflect. Although those TRE's did defect from the group chat...
  6. DIY Install of 4WP Level Lift Kit on Black Diamond 2021 Bronco

The factory lower mount hardware is 14mm. They are also grade 10.9. The front lower on this install is going to get loose pretty quickly AND the lower control arm holes will get ovalized... OP - do yourself a favor and get M14 hardware.
  7. NEW SUSPENSION KIT Coming...Fabtech - 2.5" Coilovers / Resi Shocks

The way I read Kings info is in damper travel...the result being a .25" reduction in travel in FA and a full inch of reduction in travel for the rear...

  9. NEW SUSPENSION KIT Coming...Fabtech - 2.5" Coilovers / Resi Shocks

I gave this data in another thread earlier today but I know stuff can get spread out pretty fast... FA - full stroke (metal to metal) 161mm or 6.3" RA - full stroke (metal to metal) 239mm or 9.4"
  10. BILSTEIN ESCV Bronco suspension / shocks explained - "End Stop Control Valve" Dampers (Bronco HOSS Suspension w/ Position Sensitive Dampers)

Hi Bronco people. I can provide a few answers to some of the questions out there for damper travel and spring rate. Damper travels for 2 door and 4 door are the same. Damper travel is not equal to wheel travel...I do not recall the motion ratio for Bronco but it wouldn't be that hard to back...
