Are you tapped into wire harness? Or aux switch? Or both? Wondering if you have a bad +dc connection. I’d run a jumper from battery to the light harness.

Did similar a very similar swap on my ‘21 BL MT. Remove crash bars. Did quite a few twisty/bendy trails and no rubbing issued. Speedo and odo will be about 3% off.

I have a ‘21 BL with same issue. It doesn’t bother me too often, until it does! Tried the hood pads but not enough adjustment. May try to adjust driver side down to even things out. Did you get a better solution?

3rd brake light barely touches, the two rubber bumpers near the bottom seem fine as well.
