2022 with roughly 43k miles... still on original, no chips or cracks, I do have the weather tech hood deflector that was installed fairly soon after purchase.
Personally, I went with NO additional braking system. Purchased the ready-brute tow bar which included a integrated mechanical braking system. It has worked very well. I believe if I could reduce adding more components that could break the better it would be. It does not require any...
I do not use a baseplate. As stated above modular steel bumper needed for the setup. Here is my setup: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/ready-brute-elite-ii-flat-tow-setup.94786/
No, I didn't have to do anything like that. My blinkers and break lights work just fine with this installed kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09MX52P63/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It didn't take that long to install, and once done everything worked correctly. The...
Amazon.com: CURT 58130 Vehicle-Side 6-Pin Round Trailer Wiring Harness Socket : Automotive
Bought this 6-pin plug for the tail light wiring. The reason I went with a 6-pin, is in addition to running the tail lights on the bronco, I ran a separate wire from the power pin up to my battery so when...

Nice! Any plans to get them in the Dark Green? If so I will order a set! will go well with latch bushings. Welcome to my neck of the woods... wife works for NAS, and I am at Eglin...
After reading this, I realized you were 100% correct, The quick connects were originally only rated for 5000 lbs, I have since upgraded them to much beefier 1/2 inch connectors rated at 16500 lbs. I updated the original post with the link to the much larger/ beefier quick connects! Thanks for...
Hi there! You described the situation exactly how it is, better than I could probably articulate it. I will admit it was a bit of a pain in the rear-end to install these brackets and yes, access to getting the bolts and nuts was the problem. There is very limited room to work with and it was...
It was not too bad running the brake cable from the pedal to the front of the vehicle. You want to try and keep it as straight as possible when working your way up to prevent the possibility of kinking the wire. See the pics below to see where I went through the fire wall and were the cables...
That's great! I am really glad my post has helped you in validation of your choices etc. The funny thing about the quick connect links is I didn't add that part until AFTER the first time I tested my setup. I found that the most difficult and time consuming part of connecting everything and...
