Hi @paleh0rse, I'm in the same boat wanting to use a 1UP tray on my spare with the only difference being I'm looking to mount it directly above the spare using a spare tire basket and brackets attached to the tailgate like these from x-rack. Any chance you explored this setup as well...curious...

On the topic, has anyone mounted a roof bike tray like 1UP's to the top of one of these over spare tire carrier basket platforms? I was envisioning using brackets attached to the tailgate (like x-rack's) attaching the over spare tire rack to that and then a bike tray on top of that which would...

My original OEM's lasted about 8 months before starting to disintegrate and streak. Replaced them with Scrubblades about 6 months ago and still working good as new at the moment...but time will tell.

Replaced the original oem with Scrubblade Black Editions about 4 months ago, they’ve been great so far and a notable difference from stock…time will tell if they pass the longevity test.

@flashpunk did you have to make any mods to anything for the x-rack over tire shelf? Are you using their shelf brackets too?

@Switchworks_Kyle Since you have to get into the sub panel anyway, why not create an upgrade package that mounts in there replacing the factory sub and save the space? The Bronco is already a little lean on cargo space and these rear panels are prime organizational real estate for molle panels...

@Mbuck I didn't realize it was a package related thing...I've got the Lux option which would explain why it was there on mine.

I did this same install on my ‘24 with Baja Design fogs and a factory switch upgrade except I just plugged into the factory fog wiring that was sitting unused tucked under the bumper…I take it they’re not including this pre-wiring any longer?

@ThunderFlash what rear bumper are you running?

Installed a Turn Offroad Tailgate Reinforcement. They estimate ~60 mins for installation but was on my own and took my time for perfect alignment which was a little over 2 hrs. This thing is high quality and solid!
