  1. Disable fake engine sound?

Yeah. My SAS BD I had before this, I put a pretty beefy system in it. Absolutely no engine noise. It was a NON B&O/Non Lux truck. This is a Bronco Raptor B&O. Its not super annoying as you only really hear it at idle. I dont think its coming from the sub signal though. Im intercepting the other...
  2. Disable fake engine sound?

Yeah. The coyote is a nice sounding motor. It would be nice to see them go back to a "real 5.0". Id love to see a small version of the Godzilla to go in the mustangs/half tons. A quad overhead cam direct injection motor with active fuel management is a far cry from the 5.0 in a 93 cobra :) (now...
  3. Disable fake engine sound?

It's there for sure. Could be the fake engine noise or something else. I think it's part of the ANC. I ran the RCAs from my KeyLoc into my home stereo and I get the rumble so that rules out a ground loop (unless my house is grounded to the same thing my bronco is :) )
  4. Disable fake engine sound?

So what is the general consensus on disabling the fake engine noise? I recently switched my subwoofer signal from the B&O speaker level as the source to the SoundsGoodStereo.com B&O to KeyLoc (which uses a combination of interior speakers). Although the SoundsGoodStereo/Kicker Key solution works...
  5. Does anyone have experience with MoBridge?

This is a great unit but I’m going a different route so it’s up for sale if anyone is interested. I used it for about 2 weeks.
  6. Does anyone have experience with MoBridge?

Are you running a sub off the sub channel? I noticed the sub speaker out has 2 +/- leads. Obviously because the OEM enclosure has a dual voice coil driver. I am curious to know if the amp sees a series or parallel circuit.
  7. Does anyone have experience with MoBridge?

I thought I’d update this thread since I originally found mObridge from this forum. I just installed mine and what a little beast. Fraser was super helpful when I had questions. I am running all the speakers from it plus an aftermarket sub. The DSP software is top notch and even allows...
  8. What is everyone doing to keep their tailgate from rattling with a subwoofer

I found the rattle. The mechanism for the latch/handle that you can see once you take off the access panel has a plastic cream colored outer shell piece. Took that off and added some foam tape. All fixed.
  9. What is everyone doing to keep their tailgate from rattling with a subwoofer

Nice. Yeah. I did some dynamat on the gate between the gate and enclosure. I took it a step further and did bolts all the way through the swing gate and a nut inside the box with a big washer on each side. It’s part of the truck now. My rattle is all of the parts inside swing gate. Latch...
  10. What is everyone doing to keep their tailgate from rattling with a subwoofer

Hey thanks for chiming in! Yeah. He does a good job with these. I had him make this one out of birch so its super light and wont turn to mush from the wetness. Did you sound deaden the inside of the enclosure? How much did you use between the box and swing gate? This thing is SUPER rattles. I...
  11. What is everyone doing to keep their tailgate from rattling with a subwoofer

Greetings. I know a lot of people are doing the swing gate subwoofers. Mine sounds really good but, to no surprise, the entire tailgate rattles to high hell. There is dynamat between the enclosure and swing gate but the swing gate has so many parts in/on it that it seems like an endless hunt...
  12. B&O sound system complete upgrade - Done âś…

Nice. Thanks for the quick response. I always hated having a cheap O capacitor dangling around in the dash.
  13. B&O sound system complete upgrade - Done âś…

Cool beans. Im about to replace my dash speakers. My old bronco that was non B&O, I used a 199uF filter capacitor to block any “bass’ that the speaker can’t handle. I noticed that the B&O system that I have uses the exact same dash speakers (sweet) that have a built in capacitor. Did you use a...
  14. JL Audio Stealthbox subwoofer enclosure for Bronco now available

Looks Good. Mine 100% looks like this but the panel is no where close to fitting. Not sure what is going on. I pulled it out and am going to go a different route. Perhaps this is just due to poor production tolerances in the Bronco or JL unit (or maybe even my Bronco Raptor) since the top of the...
  15. JL Audio Stealthbox subwoofer enclosure for Bronco now available

Anyone have firment issues with the JL unit? Only one way to install it and the interior panel piece isn’t even close to going back on. Top of the interior panel hits top of the enclosure.
