I’ve had luck putting the socket in and pounding it with a hammer till it feels snug, and as others have said, no power tools. Use a ratchet if possible.
I have one of these I would let go cheap. Just upgraded to the Wolfbox camera rear view. No issues and works well.

My window was covered under this TSB. Had it fixed in 22 by my dealer in Florida. Maybe call a few dealers, or it could be the TSB doesn't exist anymore? Don't know, but just thought I'd let you know my experience. Good luck!
Have you looked up a few video installs? This one went through the wiring. It's not a Rigid, or roof rack light bar, but wiring route should be the same. Hope this helps.
