  1. Debating on 2.3 vs 2.7 engine?

Both motors have plenty of power & are good. The 2.7 will have a bit more zip. Based on your stated trade-offs it is simply what compromise are you willing to make if you really want the 2.7. If you accept the 2.3 sounds like you are all set. I'd go with 2.3 based on what you have described.
  2. Quick thoughts after driving a rental Jeep

I just sold my 2022 Jeep Rubicon (first Jeep ever) to Carmax after 20k miles, tired of waiting for Bronco and needed a vehicle. Picking up both, my Bronco Badlands and my wifes OBX on Tuesday. I really liked the Jeep and hate to see it go. Didn't go off-road at all and will only go a couple...
  3. Growing list of issues with our new 2023 Outer Banks 2.7L 4 door. Leaks, rips and rattles.

Sorry for the BS you are going through. Mostly a bunch of annoying problems you hope to avoid by purchasing a new vehicle. The engine start noise is worrisome. You have a warranty of course but it makes you wonder what's next. Good news is that it happens all the time so should be easy to know...
  4. Is Bronco resale for profit a thing anymore?

I have 2 Broncos finally being built in April, ordered 9/2020. An OBX was for my wife and the Badlands for me. Had to buy her a vehicle already, so either I let the dealer keep the OBX or try to resell. Seems like end user markups are 5k at best (10 would make it worth it), after I pay 3500...
  5. Bronco Build Week 4/3/2023

Ford e-mailed built week 4/3 a week ago. I was just able to pull up the window sticker with a date on the bottom of 03/29/2023, today. What can I tell from sticker it appears blend is 320230403, 813/879. Is there any other backdoor? info or sticker info that is of use?
  6. Handgun safe for Bronco

What are the rules for transport out of state? I assume conceal carry is only good for the state you are licensed in. It would be nice if there was a way to get nationally licensed while traveling. Just curious & thanks for any info!
  7. 4 door roof rack on 2 door bronco?

Broaddict offers an OEM replica rack for 469.99, they offer 10% off on their website https://broaddict.com/ It looks very similar, don't know how the quality compares.
  8. Bronco as a winter vehicle?

Great inside look! I thought 4A only engages when it detected slippage. Based on the wear it appears it was engaged all the time or going in and out often and consequently burnt up.
  9. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

Going on 2 years waiting as well. After 1 year decided to buy a 2022 Rubicon and will take Bronco whenever it arrives. The JL is refined very well compared to previous generations. My stock Rubicon does require small steering corrections that after a time become second nature to make. Also the...
  10. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

This would be the first sensible policy Ford created with reservationist's in mind since the launch. Needs a caveat or method to broadcast the available units for 5 days and if no reservation takers it goes to the open market. The above being said I do not believe this to be a current Ford...
  11. Ford's management of supply chain?

I agree with your idea of the Bronco being a new model and the Tesla Y or Rubicon are not. However, shouldn't Ford have known the following of the Bronco was huge with pent up demand and had the supply chain ready accordingly? Most of the constrained items are basic items and nothing unique or...
  12. Ford's management of supply chain?

I ran across this write up below on a Jeep Forum and it provides a clearer picture of a large part of the problem with getting a Bronco (Covid not withstanding). Covid has a lot to do with the delay of Bronco and all auto orders from any manufacturer. That being said I have a friend who recently...
  13. Headed to pick up my Bronco

Congrats ~ Enjoy! Post some pics:)
  14. Bronco November 2021 Sales & Production Numbers: 8,287 Sold / 10,504 Produced

^^ What he said, 100%. - I call bullshit on Ford!
  15. Scheduling 1500 Mile Oil Change Today, Dealer Said Let It Ride Til 7500 Miles

Good question! Since I do not have my truck I haven't had to actually really think about it. I plan to break in the truck and do my oil changes as recommended by Ford in the manual. To this point I have not seen an "expert" prove that Ford is incorrect, through oil analysis or some other...
