Ours go "back up" when we get in and start it would've thought yours would as well. Would ask the dealer about that. I hear you on "improvements" and that's just a small pointless one. ;-)
Not certain, but IMHO I'd "reboot" it by disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes then reconnect it to see if that doesn't help. Pretty sure it can't hurt. Hope that helps. ;-)
We were so sad when we could only get the 10 speed auto in our Big Bend Sasquatch 2.7 V6. It works ok but it would be so much MORE FUN to dive / "4 wheel" with a nice 5 SPEED STICK, never mind better fuel mileage.
Yep, had ~110,000 miles on our Bronco II when the clutch went south. The reason it "went south" is daughter was teaching her college girlfriends how to drive a stick. Kids, whatta ya gonna do. Rock on! ;-)
