Resolved: dealer has me setup MyKey which he explained to recognize the fob and restore radio stations, etc, etc. it actually does not, rather it removes access to certain functions.

From what others had said on the forum it takes 30-45 days for the dealer to receive. I’ve not received anything, but I only took delivery a few weeks ago.
I had exactly the same situation as you describe. I paid the extra after getting an agreement in writing by delearship owner that when Ford reimburses they will cut me a check.
