Nope it was cash. A modest silver lining.

Part of the issue, initially, was the frog-in-hot-water syndrome. I paid up front for a product they said would be delivered in a few weeks. Then the "short" delays started happening. But now with multiple legit options including Ford itself, it will be interesting to see how this saga ends...

I will say my dealer commented that mine was the quickest they'd seen go through, so it could be a combination of them finally doing a batch of white tops and me squeaking into said batch on the back end of the time window.
