Well, I just went and test drove one....it felt like a small car after driving the F-150 for 2.5 hours....and I loved it. Damn, I was thinking someone here was gonna talk me out of writing that big check, I see my future now. lol
Thanks for all the input. I really need to go drive one, but I just wanted to hear from those that made that upgrade, and NO ONE seems to miss the old Bronco.
I have a long thread about this here, I think there’s a good chance this is correct, but it sat at one dealer for 30 days and another one for 14 days and it still vibrates and they aren’t willing to do anything else to it.
This is a great write-up. Thanks for this input. That's what I need to hear. Im driving my F-150 these days, the Bronco has been parked. The truck has a 6" lift and 35" tires, so I'm thinking the Raptor will be better than that, and the fact that you prefer driving it over the other vehicles...
I currently have a '24 Wildtrack that has a vibration that Ford can't fix, so one way or another I'm done with it. I purchased it originally because I thought it would be an awesome vehicle to have at the beach, which is where I spend most of my weekends. I also like having something smaller...
I've had a pine needle slapping the back glass before and I swore it was something in the front. Sometimes these noises aren't coming from exactly where they sound like they are, it could be something under the hood, or in the grill.
I actually went thru it before on a 2020 Explorer ST. That vehicle had ALL the problems. I've never had a vehicle with so many things wrong with it, ironically my next new Ford was a 2020 Ranger and I swear that may have been my favorite vehicle ever, it just wasn't quite enough truck for what I...
My Eruption Green one in my photo is about to go away (Back to Ford) and I'm a bit bummed by the options that I"m going to have. I think it would have to be Ruby Red, although I also think I'm going to step up to a Raptor and I'll probably get the Green one they offer in the Raptor. I didn't...
Well, to keep this up to date. It seems like Ford has decided to just ignore me, so I called an attorney today and sent him all the information they need. It appears to be game on. I still kinda feel like it could have been resolved with new tires, but I could be wrong, so I really don't have a...
I'll have to let you know how the buyback process goes. After multiple trips to the dealers, and MULTIPLE calls to Ford to get them to fix a vibration, today I just had enough and contacted an attorney. They have already exceeded the days in the shop portion of the NC lemon law, and I have given...
have to wonder how much studying went into side friction resistance impact and how many roadway standards will need to be adjusted to account for that. As A highway engineer, all I see here is the possibility for a vehicle to need more superelevation on the roadway to account for the lower...
I follow a guy online, I think it's ST Direct. He's got a tire business out of Lincolnton NC, He seems to believe it's still the way to go, but they balance everything by the lug holes, and not the center. He does say that on factory wheels, the tolerance for the center being perfectly centered...
I can not see any way that piece of metal has travelled thru any moving part on that engine. That looks like it's a strip of metal from the filter, like something that was attached to the filter basket itself. I'd be a little concerned if I saw that, but I will say again, that metal has not...
