  1. Transfer case failure.

Good question, I thought it was inside the engine compartment above the passenger wheel well. Not 100% though. Good luck! So far mine has been holding strong since the TC and module, but I haven’t really been able to work the 4x4 enough to get my confidence back with it.
  2. Massachusetts Fox Hoss 3.0 Suspension

These are high on my upgrade list, wish I were in a position to take them off your hands!
  3. Transfer case failure.

Update: after replacing the transfer case, the powertrain/awd fault was still coming on. They brought in a field engineer from Ford who diagnosed a failing transfer case module, they replaced that and it's been working great since. Now that it is fixed, I doubt that it has been fully engaging...
  4. Transfer case failure.

Agreed, I will see what they come back with and go from there. Just incredibly frustrating.
  5. Transfer case failure.

All I got for an explanation was that they verified the fault, pin tested the tc and got no response, pulled the tc drain plug and noticed ā€œchunkyā€ fluid draining out. Trust me that many questions have been asked, and have yet to be answered. I can send you the paperwork whenever I am back at...
  6. Transfer case failure.

Yeah, I mean they said it was an internal transfer case failure. They replaced it and supposedly test drove and verified the repair. I drove it home and parked it at work until after the storm and that’s when it happened all over again.
  7. Transfer case failure.

Same, but this wasn’t pavement, foot and half of snow after the blizzard. And less than 2 minutes of driving before the fault came on.
  8. Transfer case failure.

UPDATE: picked up the bronco last sat am after they replaced the transfer case, 4wd/powertrain fault again by Monday evening. Put it into 4h driving through snowy residential streets is apparently not enjoyable for this machine 😭.
  9. Transfer case failure.

Good to know, I couldn’t imagine that anything I’ve used it for would cause a failure šŸ™šŸ¼
  10. Transfer case failure.

Thanks everyone for the info. I just heard from the dealer that’s it’s ready for pickup. The tech said he did a pin test with zero response, then pulled the drain plug and the fluid had fragments in it. Sounds like that’s as in depth as they will get with causes. Thankful for the warranty!
  11. Transfer case failure.

I have the part time transfer case, not the advanced. (I thought I’d escape possible issues by going this route lol).
  12. Second failed transfer case

Mine just went in with a failed transfer case. Mine is a part time, non sas bronco. Similar usage, happened in deep snow, which is all I’ve ever engaged 4wd for. I can count how many times I’ve used 4wd on one hand and it’s only got about 25k on the odometer. Did you get any more insight as to...
  13. Transfer case failure.

Hey everyone. To start, I have a 2023 non-sas, 2.7, 4-door Outer banks. The Bronco is currently in the shop with a failed transfer case. I have been doing some searches to see if anyone else has had similar issues but didn’t come up with much. Anyone out there with a failed transfer case, and...
  14. Air filter change--found this in the bottom of air box

I would check and make sure that the retainer located at the front of the airbox intake is present. There are also a few on the top side of the grill when you open the hood that could have come out and made their way into the airbox.
