I put the Trailrax 1/2 rack on my 2 door and it seems to work just fine. Added a bit of wind noise but that was expected. I connect my hoist to the 1/2 rack to lift off the top and leave it hanging in the garage. Works fine for me.
Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I’ve been trying to find a way to attach my Tred traction boards to my TrailRax half-rack. I ordered some bolts for that purpose online thinking the slots in racks were a fairly standard size. Apparently not; way too fat for my slots.. The pieces looked...
Best upgrade I bought was the center console storage upgrade that has the two stackable trays in it, from Mabett I think The OEM one kept falling down and was pretty useless.
What I did myself was keeping the rear seats (2 dr) folded down and placing a folded moving blanket down over the whole...
@23OBX2.7 I agree. I was thinking about replacing my plastic front bumper but concerned about adding weight to my ‘23 2dr Big Bend 2.3 which is apparently one of the lightest out there. Emailed a company, Extreme Terrain I think, about the weight of a front bumper and they never responded...
Probably good for off-road, but might be a little rough on the rod at highway speeds. When I go fishing by myself I put my 9 foot rod tip up between the seats and into the passenger footwell. Fits with only a slight bend at the tip and my Bronco is a two door.
@KDWright5407 for future reference, saying you’re not being rude doesn’t excuse you for being rude. Trying to have a discussion here and you want to put me down for doing so? Do better.
@DALOLA I bought my 2023 dr 2.3 non-sas auto Big Bend off the lot for about $43k. The Big Bend gives you the option of auto climate, nicer interior, draining floors with the mid package. And trust me, I’ve been over some pretty gnarly Idaho mountain forest service roads that you probably won’t...
@Brian_B you are correct. When you want to use the CC the first time you have to hit the on/off button to the right and it sets at current speed. But why not just hit the up button that has the same effect if the CC was already active at start instead of remembering it’s the first use and I...
@Brian_B ha!! No troll. Just want my Bronco to start up with the cruise control on, but not active. Just like I had stepped on the brakes. Simply want to push one button to set my speed and skip the turn-on button every time. My other SUV works that way. Why is there an on-off button for...
Is it possible to use ForScan to keep the cruise control permanently on? I hate having to turn it on every time I use it. Almost like having to turn the ASS off every time until I fixed that permanently with aftermarket bongle.
This is an original oil on canvas by Bob Brown who once was a professional drag racer then team manager turned artist later in life. Below it is my vintage Pioneer SX-550 receiver I bought while in the army that provides tunes through the original speakers while doing garage work.
@stinkdog my kids and I bought the shopping chicken for my wife at Naylor’s Hardware in Oakland, MD. It was on our mailbox post on Deep Creek Lake north of there for about 20 years. We sold that house and now she’s on a fence in Idaho by the mailbox. There are many long-time employees at...
